The United States of America To all to whom these presents shall come
greeting, Whereas in pursuance of an Act of Congress, Approved September 28th 1850,
Entitled "An act granting Bounty Land to certain officers and Soldiers who have been engag-
ed in the Military Service of the United States" Warrant No 10  for 160 acres, issued in
favor of Alexander B. Sanchez Private in Captain Ward's Company Sergeant in Captain Hendley's com
pany and Lieutenant in Captain Dells Company Florida Volunteers Florida War has been return
ed to the General Land Office, with evidence that the same has been duly located upon the East
half of the North West quarter and the West half of the North East quarter of Section seventeen in
Township Eleven South of Range Eighteen East in the district of Lands Subject to sale at Newnansville
Florida containing one hundred and Sixty acres and ten hundreths of an acre according to the Official
Plat of the Survey of the said land returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General
Now know Ye, that there is therefore granted by the United States unto the said Alexander B.
Sanchez the tract of Land above described, To have and to hold the said tract of Land with the
appurtenances thereof unto the said Alexander B. Sanchez and his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony
whereof, I, Millard Fillmore President of the United States of America, have caused these letters to be made
Patent and the Seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.

Alachua County   } This indenture mad this fifth day of October in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight between William Coleman
Administrator and Martha Ann Coleman administratrix of the estate of Simon
F. Hodges decd of the first part of the State and County aforesaid, and James Hobkirk
and Alfred Tompkins of the second part witnesseth that the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, by the said party of the Second part, have granted
bargained, sold, and transferred and do hereby grant, bargain, sell and transfer to the
said James Hobkirk and Alfred Tompkins, their heirs and assigns forever a certain
tract of land situated in the State and County aforesaid and more particularly known
and described as follows viz the East half of the North East quarter of Section (15) fifteen
of Township (11) Eleven South of Range (22) twenty two East containing Eighty acres, to
have and to hold to the said James Hobkirk and Alfred Tompkins their heirs and assigns
forever with the rights, Privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and the Said
party of the first part, the said Land above described unto the said party of the second
part, their heirs and assigns, will forever warrant and defendant against all and every per-
son whomsoever, In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set
their hands and affixed their seals the day and year above written
